The Crowbars are located on South Grant Street here in Desloge. And they are one of the roofing crews. They had a nickname for themselves,tough. Now, they said not to put it in the blog, but... I just have to! "The Fastest, Bestest Crew." hehe. We visited them around 2:00 pm yesterday, and the majority of the roof was already completely torn off! I was so impressed. Other then roofing, they are going to scrape and paint the trim around the windows and the eves. They are really doing a fantastic job! :)
The Toe Nails!
The Toe Nails are one of our painting crews. They have to paint this entire house and the eves. They have an eleven-person crew and are nearly done already! I was very impressed. Like all of the other crews I visited, the Toe Nails are a very likeable and friendly crew. They are stretching out their time a little by sending kids out to evangelize. Their Crew Encourager, Jenny, says that they’re a very hard-working crew and that they’re just amazing. I think so, too. ;DThe Stone Rollers!
The Stone Rollers [or Rolling Stones] are another one of our roofing crews. Their house is on North Harry Jr. in Desloge. With a funny and likeable crew, as well, the Stone Rollers seem to get along really well. They have an incredibly steep roof to work with and they are much braver than I am! Hehe. They’re getting a lot done, also. Well… Just see for yourself! ^_^
The Goofus Roofers!
Yet another roofing crew. This crew was very funny and introduced themselves by shouting out their names as I left. It’s a shame I can’t remember them. Hehe. But this crew is a unique one. Before the shingles were torn off of the roof, they wrote “World Changers Goofus Roofers” on one side of the roof. It was so funny! And cute. Hehe. But this crew is working very hard. The homeowner was outside talking to them whenever I got there yesterday, so I’ll keep you updated on how that goes! [How exciting!] :D
