Help me, Chief, I've got plans for you and me...
As I was driving toward Bismarck, I told myself: "This is it. This is the last day. They're all going home." It was sort of sad to bid farewell to them all, but extremely happy and uplifting to see the amazing work they all did for the Lord. They changed the lives of the people in Bismarck. They really changed their world. hehe...I decided I would drive to Merle street first. I could see that their vans weren't there, so I took a picture of the newly painted house and moved on to Plainview, hoping that was where the missing crew was. I guessed right. I found bits and pieces of three of my crews at Plainview. The Joint Clamps were busy putting up siding, but looking closer I could see members of the Hand Saws there too. I even found bits and pieces of the crew from Walnut, The Hard Hats, working on the front porch.
There were people putting up siding,
there were some people painting, some were putting finishing touches
on a hand rail, some were giving out hugs
to tired Crew Chiefs, others were picking up
materials, some were washing paintbrushes, others
were searching for tape measures, some were carrying ladders, some
were lounging about, and others were eating ice cream.
It was fun just to walk around and talk with whoe
ver was willing to talk. Wendy was kind enough to tell me her story of how she first became a crew cheif and of how she learned so much about siding. I met up with Kristy and Andrew again. I talked with Nick and other World Changers and chatted about my own World Changers experiences and the places I had been.
I gave out the blog URL several times and figured I had better head out for the day and let them all finish up their project. After taking several more pictures and chatting with a few more people, I bid them all one last farewell. I drove by the houses on Gifford and Walnut and tooks pictures of the finished projects.

It was amazing what these World Changers did for Bismarck. I know we all appreciate you and thank God for all of you and all that you did! ^_^Random Thought of the Day: Jesus loves you!!
